The smart wireless LED UV lamp for curing Duobond UV resin and Impact-Filler

This portable LED UV lamp is an alternative to the traditional UV-TL lamp and is wireless. This makes repairing the windscreen so much easier, because it reduces the chance of damage to the paint. It also gives the technician the freedom to work in any situation. With the 3-leg structure in combination with the suction cups, it is always attached to the windshield with the correct distance from the beam angle of the special Duobond LED.

Optimal curing

The wavelength and amount of UV radiation that the Duobond UV resin and Impact filler require was the starting point for the development of this wireless UV lamp. The required low wavelength and an optimal design of the power supply on the printed circuit board prevent any form of heat production. Heat production has a negative influence on the refractive index and the quality of the cured UV resin. This makes the repair more noticeable and reduces the shear strength of the repair, increasing the chance that the windshield will still crack. Heat also reduces the lifespan of the printed circuit board. The extra green LED gives a flashing signal when the UV LED lamp is on. Once the optimal curing time of 65 seconds has elapsed, the lamp switches off automatically. This limits the amount of energy required and time lost for the technician during the curing process. With a full battery you can easily perform 75 hardenings. Once the battery is empty, the lamp stops working and can be charged via the supplied USB cable. The USB charger works on standard 5v USB outputs and once it is connected, a red LED in the lamp lights up, indicating that the lamp is being charged.
